About Crossfit

CrossFit was founded in the early 2000s by Greg Glassman as a direct response to one of the world’s most pressing challenges: the rise of chronic disease and declining health. At its core, CrossFit is a methodology designed to empower individuals to reclaim their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Health is the greatest asset we have. Whether it’s your own or someone else’s, navigating life without it can feel impossible.

Frequently asked questions

If you’ve still got questions, you might find the answer here.

Absolutely. Educated coaches tailor workouts to your ability, ensuring progress at your pace.

No. CrossFit is for everyone, regardless of current fitness. Just show up and we’ll meet you where you are.

CrossFit uniquely combines strength, cardio, and functional movements with expert coaching and an encouraging group setting, so you’re never training alone.

Yes. CrossFit workouts boost metabolism and build lean muscle. Combined with smart nutrition, many members report fat loss, increased energy, and better body composition.

Most CrossFit classes follow this structure:

  • Warm-Up (5–10 min): Get loose and prepared.
  • Skill/Strength (10–20 min): Focus on a movement or build strength.
  • Workout of the Day (WOD) (10–20 min): This is the heart of the session – and it’s built for every level.
  • Cool Down (5–10 min): Stretch, recover, and reset.

If you’re newer, you’ll do simpler movements like air squats, incline push-ups, or lighter kettlebell swings. More-experienced athletes might tackle heavier lifts, box jumps, or advanced movements like snatches and handstand push-ups.

Your coach will make sure everyone gets a workout that’s safe, challenging, and just right for them.
